The cameras will recognize new hairstyles
A fun moment from yesterday I wanted to share in my effort to cover all things Capitol-related.
Senate Democrats were briefed by legislative administration about the current and coming changes to security at the Capitol and plaza.
One of those changes apparently includes facial-recognition cameras that are supposed to detect people on some kind of “watch list”.
Well, if you’ve been around the Capitol the past few days, you’ve probably noticed Senator Ophelia Ford has a striking new hairstyle. She had concerns that her “new do” would not be recognized by the facial recognition cameras. Her concerns were put to rest.
So, if you are thinking about making a hair change, rest assured: you will still be recognized by the cameras.
